Eight ADSL2+ products
are available, providing monthly bandwidth allowance options from 3GB
up to 250GB. During the off-peak hours access will be unlimited (subject
to the monthly allowance and any top-up being in credit. Once exhausted,
a 1GB allowance is provided and the connection rate limited to 128Kbps.
Once this allowance is exhausted the connection is blocked until the
next billing period unless a top-up is purchased). Customers' paid-for
allowances When a customer's allowance/or top up is fully used, the connection speed will be limited to 128kbps until the either the next billing period or a top-up is bought. 128kbps is fast enough for general internet usage, but will not be able to withstand heavy downloads or streaming, this limit will be constant whether on or off peak. A 1GB limit will also be in place to restrict the amount of contact that can be downloaded whilst this 128kbps rate is in use. When the allowance is used up, the connection will be blocked until the next billing period, or top-up is purchased. Customers can choose from a range of allowance products, including a top-up package that will allow them to buy extra bandwidth that lasts until it has been used up, there is no time limit on this top-up. There are 7 bandwidth top-up options, ranging from 10GB to TB, this can only be used in conjunction with a Broadband Base product, and can be added to at any time. |
